Dallow lock murals renovated
Shobnall Parish Council has recently spent 9,000 on completely renovating the two murals either side of Dallow Lock canal towpath.
The Murals stretch the complete length of the bridge and depict the history of Burton Upon Trent and the Shobnall Ward.
The murals were first installed in 2007 and have won numerous local and national awards.
The Parish Council decided to renovate the murals as they had become tired and in need of a complete overhaul.
The murals have been completely stripped back, repainted and protected and will hopefully be seen to great effect by passersby for years to come.
